Macauley Pedder is one of the most exciting young talents in the UK, fighting back from several bouts of serious illness in recent years to stamp his name on the British Muay Thai scene. Macauley began to earn a formidable reputation as early as 14, where he competed at the British Championships and came third overall. Just over a year later, however, he was taken into hospital following the onset of respiratory problems – including whooping cough. Macauley was forced to take 18 months out for recovery, but upon his return he discovered All Powers Gym where he has been training ever since. He recently made the big step up to the professional circuit and emerged victorious in his first bout. Training under the watchful gaze of Panicos Yusuf, the future looks bright for Macauley, who is aiming to be one of the greatest Muay Thai talents in the country.
